In this workshop, hear about one large academic medical centre’s work to implement research both in and on simulation throughout their programmes and what skillsets needed to be generated to succeed. Prepare to collaborate with speakers and fellow attendees to identify where your programmatic gaps may be as well as share ideas and resources to shore up those gaps.

  1. Didactic lecture and storytelling about the two year process of developing and implementing a more robust simulation research programme at a large academic medical centre
  2. Small group facilitated and guided activity on SWOT analysis of attendees teams and current programmes with facilitated sharing
  3. Small and large group facilitated conversation and brainstorm of potential solutions related to SWOT and gap analyses
