Mr Mohammed Arif Bin Mohammed Sa’at

Simulation Technician, Nursing Education & Development,

Mr Mohammed Arif Bin Mohammed Sa’at is a Simulation Technician in the Department of Nursing Education & Development at Sengkang General Hospital (SKH), who assisted in the setting up of the SKH Simulation Centre.

He has been actively involved in clinical simulation for over eight years, and is the resource person and leading figure in the procurement of the simulators and training equipment. Mr Arif manages the day-to day operations of SKH Simulation Centre and is in charge of the operation and support of clinical simulation within SKH. Besides being heavily involved in supporting simulation, workshops and training conducted for the medical professionals as well as nursing and allied health counterparts within SIMS, he enjoys exploring innovative and creative training solutions to help faculty meet targeted learning needs or objectives.

Some solutions that Mr Arif has created to enhance authenticity and realism of simulations include the use of moulage and DIY low cost task trainers. Currently, he is involved in coaching fellows of “Fellowship Programme for Healthcare Simulation Educator” as well as training new simulation technician who came on-board in this tremendous and exciting journey.
