Mr Muhammad Ashiq Bin Rahim

Wellbeing Coordinator, Clinical Services,
SingHealth Polyclinics, Singapore


Mr Ashiq graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology degree from James Cook University and is pursuing a Master of Social Work degree from the Singapore University of Social Sciences. He currently leads a team of Wellbeing Coordinators at SingHealth Polyclinics to support the development of Social Prescribing in primary care. He is a contributing member of the SingHealth Regional Health System (RHS) Care Coordinators Taskforce that harmonised the roles and competencies of Wellbeing Coordinators across institutions within SingHealth. Prior to his current role, Mr Ashiq had the opportunity to support patients and their caregivers as they transition from acute hospital admission to care at home. He has also been blessed with valuable experience in providing psychosocial support to patients with acute stroke. Mr Ashiq is passionate about uplifting the social and personal wellbeing of his patients to promote better health for them.
