In a fast-paced work environment like in healthcare, learning should not just be limited to the formal approach of workshops or synchronous training. Learning should be extended to the asynchronous approach and decentralise learning to empower learners with on-demand content. e-Learning modules serve these aims to enable learners to access the QI content at any location and at any point in time, with convenience.

The e-Learning resources in this programme comes in two forms:

-  Internally developed modules contextualised with localised content to Medicine; and

- Curated external resources with online certifications (where applicable).

QI Masterclass Series is developed to create a sharing and conversational platform where experts share about interesting experiences and innovative projects in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety. To inject clinical relevance, there will be deliberate designing of content to be contextualised to Medicine for collective and continuous learning. With these, opportunities to improve faculty-resident engagement can be established, facilitate interprofessional collaboration and spark off new quality initiatives to solve system-level problems.

As with all types of learning, the eventual outcome will be for the learner to translate learnt concepts into actual application. Therefore, in the Practice track, there platforms will be set up to provide relevant learning and formative opportunities for learners to iterate their projects further and reinforce learning of QI concepts and experiences.

The platforms in this Practice track include:

- Residency QI Certification Sessions;

- QI Marketplace (Project sharing by faculty and project matching between faculty and residents); and

- Residency QI Teaching

What's learning without the fun? In this Interactive track, we believe we can make learning alive through having conversations, listening to different perspectives, facilitating interactions and adding fun to the process! Improvement-related conferences and workshops provide learning opportunities, exchange ideas and promote collaborations. Games and competitions offer dedicated time for learners to be enthused through play and be intellectually stimulated through real-time learning and applying of QI knowledge and tools.
