Mr Daniel Kong Wei Ming
Nanyang President’s Doctoral Researcher, Nanyang Technological University

Daniel Kong is a PhD candidate and researcher from the medical humanities cluster in NTU’s School of Humanities. His work focuses on storytelling and the body in mediums such as life-writing, theatre, performance art, and literature. Of particular interest are the topics of Schizophrenia, practitioners ranging from Antonin Artaud to Melati Suryodarmo, thinkers like Deleuze and interpretive methods like Narrative Inquiry. He has also been a lecturer of communications through NTU’s Language and Communication Centre modules for Year 1 students.
 
Daniel has a BA(Hons with Highest Distinction) and an MA in English Literature. He has received the Lee Kuan Yew Gold Medal and the Koh Tai Ann Gold Medal, and did his MA under the NTU Research Scholarship. His current candidature in NTU is under the Nanyang President’s Graduate Scholarship.
