Ms Sim Bee Hia
​Executive Director, Singapore Hospice Council

As Executive Director, Ms Sim Bee Hia is responsible for the successful leadership and management of the Singapore Hospice Council (SHC) according to the strategic direction set by the SHC Board. She also oversees all strategic and tactical matters relating to advancing the Board's mission and vision. 

Ms Sim has over 20 years of leadership experience in the non-profit sector. Before joining SHC, she was the CEO of Food from the Heart, a leading food charity in Singapore. Her earlier leadership positions include the Secretary-General of the Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan and the inaugural General Manager of the Singapore Chinese Orchestra.  

After work hours, Ms Sim continues to give her time in community service. She was conferred the Public Service Star (BBM) in 2019 and the Public Service Medal (PBM) in 2010 by the President of Singapore. She also gives back to her alma mater and is currently a member of the joint school management committee for Chung Cheng High School (Main), Chung Cheng High School (Yishun), and Nanyang Junior College. 

An ardent believer in leading through collaboration, Ms Sim brings along her aptitude to convene diverse groups of people from the public and private sectors to support a worthy cause.
