Dr Evan Calabrese will be visiting RADSC ACP from 17 April 2025 – 22 April 2025.

 

Dr Evan Calabrese, MD PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Radiology and Biomedical Engineering at Duke University in the Division of Neuroradiology and a core faculty member of the Duke Centre for Artificial Intelligence in Radiology (DAIR). Dr Calabrese's research focuses on using automated image processing techniques including artificial intelligence and deep learning to improve the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of central nervous system diseases with an emphasis on neuro-oncology applications.

 

You are cordially invited to attend Dr Calabrese's talks, which will be held in person and livestreamed via Zoom.

This talk, focused on AI applications in neuro-oncology, will explore projects related to synthesis of missing or degraded neuroimaging data and the combination of imaging and clinical data to predict clinically relevant aspects of tumour biology. The presented work will be a combination of research from the Calabrese lab at Duke University Medical Centre and collaborative work as part of the 2021 RSNA AI challenge and 2023 Brain Tumour Segmentation (BraTS) challenge.

This talk, focused on AI applications in neuro-oncology, will explore projects related to automated brain tumour segmentation on MRI and its potential role for improving treatment monitoring and imaging-based response assessment. The presented work will be a combination of research from the Calabrese lab at Duke University Medical Centre and collaborative work as part of the 2021-2024 Brain Tumour Segmentation (BraTS) challenges and the 2021/2024 Federated Tumour Segmentation (FeTS) initiatives.

 

1 CME, 1 CPE or 1 CPD point will be credited for each talk. Please note that photographs and/or videos will be taken during the talks.
