SingHealth institutions have been involved in Postgraduate Family Medicine training since the inception of the Master of Medicine (Family Medicine) programme in 1991, and was one of the two Family Medicine programmes that were set up in Singapore when the country adopted the Residency training framework in 2011. The SingHealth Family Medicine Residency is a 3-year training program with an intake of over 30 residents each year. FM ACP provides a unique training milieu as it is the only sponsoring institution to offer FM postings across a comprehensive breadth of FM clinical settings. This allows for training proficient Family Physicians to help meet evolving national healthcare needs in different healthcare settings.
