Research Overview

The research pillar of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Academic Clinical Programmes (OBGYN ACP) serves to enhance and support strategic infrastructure of Clinician Scientist and Clinician Investigator development and enhance collaboration between OBGYN doctors in the ACP. We assist in nurturing and providing guidance to our faculty (Clinicians, Allied Health Professionals and Nursing) to advance their research career journeys.

Research Excellence

The fundamental pillars in advancing medical research are:

  • CI/CS Development – assistance in hypothesis formation, project development, introduce pilot grants, provide research training and grantsmanship
  • Strategic Programs – form structured subspecialty and thematic research studies
  • Innovative R&D – improve industrial collaborations and partnerships with TCM, devices and pharmaceuticals organisations
  • Administrative – establish cross cluster mentor-mentee programme, CI/CS tracking, regulations and protocols, and establish research networks with various stakeholders
