The 8th SingHealth Duke-NUS OBGYN ACP Research Day was held virtually on Zoom with more than 200 participants. We are honored to have Prof Jerry Chan and Assoc Prof Fabian Yap to share their knowledge and insights in their fields of research. In addition, Dr Liu Shuling shared with us on outcomes of her recent research study titled, “Do men with normal testosterone-oestradiol ratios benefit from Letrozole for the treatment of male infertility?”. We are honoured to have Dr Shephali Tagore, Dr Chonkar Sonali Prashant, Dr Mathur Deepak, Dr Manisha Mathur, Dr Ann Wright, Dr Ilka Tan, Dr Julian Kang, Dr Nirmal Kavalloor Visruthan, Dr Serene Thain, Dr Rajeswari Kathirvel and Dr Singaraselvan Nagarajan as our teaching team to run the Core course. The course curriculum included a broad range of scenarios such as Shoulder Dystocia and Severe Pre-eclampsia.

We are honoured to have Dr Shephali Tagore, Dr Mathur Deepak, Dr Sim Wen Shan, Dr Ann Wright, Dr Chonkar Sonali Prashant, Dr Ilka Tan, Dr Lional Karunamary, Dr Julian Kang, Dr Grace Ng, Dr Sharon Foo and Dr Muhammad Fairuz B Abdul Rahman as our teaching team to run the Core-Lite course. The course curriculum included a range of emergency scenarios such as Maternal Resuscitation and Perimortem Cesarean Section.

10-11 Jan 2020: Asia Pacific Diabetes in Pregnancy Conference (APDIP) & Integrated Platform for Research in Advancing Metabolic Health Outcomes of Women and Children (IPRAMHO) International Meeting 2020
The 3rd APDIP and IPRAMHO International Meeting 2020 was well-received and attended by over 200 local and overseas delegates.
Aside from sharing the Asia-Pacific perspectives in gestational diabetes management, the team has also deliberated on exercise in pregnancy, in line with the theme of Optimal Lifestyle for Better Perinatal Metabolic Health. The team has presented local and international data on exercise in pregnancy. The Guidelines on Physical Activity and Exercise in Pregnancy was officially launched by Guest-of-Honour Senior Minister of State Dr Amy Khor during the conference.
