What is a system of assessment? How do you know if you are truly assessing students on what they are being taught? How do you decide which method of assessment to use? This workshop will allow participants to learn about and apply foundational concepts in assessment, common assessment methods used in education, and practice setting up a system of assessment for a course. It will be useful to educators who are developing their assessment systems from scratch or seeking to improve existing assessment systems.
