Enhancing and Enriching Learning Through Effective Facilitation (SELECTIVE)

Effective Team-Based Learning (TBL) requires effective facilitation skills. This workshop, facilitated in a TBL manner, will review and demonstrate the elements of TBL and help participants develop skills in facilitation. Pre-workshop assignments will be given to participants to help them prepare for the activities. 

Learning Objectives

• Define facilitation and identify scenarios which are suitable for facilitation.
• Describe what constitutes effective and ineffective facilitation.
• Identify how effective facilitation can contribute to achieving a deeper and richer level of learning.
• Evaluate some of the facilitation best practices that can be learnt.
