​The "Flipped" Classroom: Using TBL to Enhance the Learning Within Your Course

This workshop is designed to introduce participants to the basics of Team-Based Learning (TBL) and inspire them to consider using TBL in their curricula.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the key elements of TBL sessions through MCQ questions.
  • Critique the different phases of TBL through application debate.
  • Debate various methods to use for creating TBL teams through application.
  • Identify barriers to implementation of TBL in their setting through application debate.
  • Strategise effective solutions to overcoming those barriers through application gallery walk.
