The Care Transformation and Innovation pillar heals outside the box. It revolutionises emergency care through patient-centric innovation, while also building community networks of integrated care to reinforce out-of-hospital emergency response. This pillar is made up of four domains:
• Systems Innovation: develops technological tools to streamline processes and enhance safety
• Patient Care Improvement: designs operation protocols to improve the consistency of quality care
• Right Siting Emergency Care: ensures that patients receive appropriate care at the right place and time
• Community Engagement: empowers primary care partners to deliver accurate urgent care responses
Working with partners both within and outside of the hospital helps us to identify novel solutions to perennial constraints, such as manpower and reaction time.
