The Education pillar invests in people. People are the lifeblood of the EM ACP; as such, it is of paramount importance that we groom future-ready professionals in a collaborative workplace environment, providing them with opportunities for life-long learning. This pillar is made up of four domains:
• Undergraduate Programme: trains students to make critical decisions under real-world constraints
• EM Residency Programme: equips Residents with relevant clinical skills and ED management methodology
• EM Special Interest Fellowship Programmes: helms Singapore’s development of EM in special interest areas (e.g. Pre-Hospital Care, Paediatric Emergencies)
• Continuing Professional Development Programme: supports lifelong curiosity of faculty through courses and further studies
These initiatives are built upon on our belief that the growth of every individual contributes collectively and exponentially to the success of EM ACP.
