What constitutes as household emergencies and how do we manage them? Does applying condensed milk on a burn help? Will you heal faster by applying toothpaste on an insect bite? Have you ever faced an emergency at home and are at a loss?
Join Family Physician, Dr S A Aziz Noordin, and Staff Nurse, Ms Low Wai Teng, as they explore ways to manage common household emergencies such as cuts, insect bites, or allergies, as well as how to prevent and manage falls among elderly.
This talk is brought to you by Our SilverCare Hub (Changi General Hospital) and Tampines Medicine Clinic in collaboration with National Library Board.

Dr S A Aziz Noordin has been involved in the primary care sector since 2013, working with at-risk populations. He continued that journey when he joined Tampines Family Medicine Clinic, engaging seniors, and exploring healthy lifestyle with patients while at the same time improving health literacy.
Ms Low Wai Teng has a degree in nursing and past background experience in cardiovascular nursing for 3 years with NUH. Thereafter, she joined Tampines Family Medicine Clinic with an interest in community nursing. Ms Low now conducts comprehensive geriatric assessments and manages referrals for seniors enrolled in Our SilverCare Hub, a geriatric service hub programme in partnership with CGH.
