Oral Health Therapist Sivaragini Siva shared that brushing alone does not clean areas between teeth, and is thus not fully effective in removing food scraps and dental plaque in between teeth. As such, she recommends using other dental tools, like interdental brushes and dental picks to ensure better oral hygiene. She added that each product has different measurements and firmness, and that it is important to assess and choose the right product depending on the individual. She also demonstrated the right way of using these tools to effectively clean one’s teeth.
