Up till six months of age, breast milk alone is sufficient for your child’s nutritional needs. After six months, breast milk should be complemented with other age-appropriate foods to meet your child’s growing nutritional needs.
The first stage of weaning is important in cultivating good eating habits. This includes teaching your child how to eat from a spoon, swallowing and chewing! Parents often worry on when and how to introduce new food to the baby's diet in order to let the baby explore new taste and textures.
