Fractures can occur as a result of underlying osteoporosis which means “brittle bones”. It is common in Singapore and is will become more common as our society ages. It is expected that half of women and a quarter of men above the age of 50 will experience a fracture in her/his lifetime. Falls are especially dangerous for people with osteoporosis. Join us to learn more about the prevention of falls and fractures at our first inaugural public forum on osteoporosis held in conjunction with World Osteoporosis Day. Mark the date - Saturday, 20 October 2018. First 100 participants will receive a goodie bag. Come for a free health screen and challenge yourself with our fall risk assessments.
