17 August 2020 - Tele-rehabilitation allows patients to work with therapists remotely on their physical services. While there are benefits such as the convenience and time-saving, there are also some challenges. According to Wong Shi Hui, Senior Physiotherapist, CGH some patients may not have sufficient space at home to position themselves a distance away from the camera. Since June, the Department of Rehabilitative Services have held an average of 120 tele-rehabilitative sessions monthly since June. CGH patient, Mdm Chong Mah Lay, was one of the patients who shared how she benefited from tele-rehabilitation.
