The Parkinson’s Care feature was launched on the SingHealth's Health Buddy mobile app in conjunction with World Parkinson's Day to assist with Parkinson's care. It allows for the tracking and recording of key Parkinson's symptoms and complications. Assoc Prof Prakash Kumar, Head of Neurology, SKH and Senior Consultant, Department of Neurology, NNI stated that tracking changes in symptoms is an important part of Parkinson's self-care, which gives the medical team a clearer picture of the patient's condition and progress and helps make appropriate adjustments to treatment to help manage symptoms. Ms Teh Choon Ling, Centre Manager, Parkinson Society Singapore shared that a digital journal makes it much easier for patients to share information with caregivers or loved ones, and the report feature allows for an instant overview of all their symptoms.
