（早报讯）肾脏损坏，可自行恢复至完全康复？杜克—新加坡国立大学医学院研究员研发出世界首创的抗生素治疗，能有效在肾、肺、肝等多个器官促进细胞自行修复。

新研究由杜克—国大医学院和新加坡国家心脏中心联合展开，医学院心血管与代谢疾病研究教授库特（Stuart Cook）带领。团队在2017年取得重大突破，发现名为白细胞介素11（Interleukin 11，简称IL11）的蛋白质，是引发器官组织纤维化（fibrosis）的关键导因。组织纤维化可引起不同器官被损害，甚至功能衰竭。

研究团队随即展开实验，为肾脏损坏的老鼠注射抗生素抑制IL11的生产。结果显示，老鼠的肾脏在经过三个月的治疗后，恢复情况良好，也没有出现任何副作用。这份研究报告去年12月，刊登在国际学术期刊《自然—通讯》的网站。

主笔报告的杜克—国大医学院心血管与代谢疾病研究助理教授维贾贾（Anissa Widjaja）解释，抗生素可减少甚至避免IL11干扰体内自然修复过程，受损器官在不使用任何其他治疗药物的情况下也能完全恢复。

除了肾脏，研究团队也针对肺、肝、心脏、血管、肠道和皮肤进行实验，结果令人鼓舞。目前市面上没有可预防纤维化的方法。

研究团队已获得专利，并交由德国制药公司勃林格殷格翰（Boehringer-Ingelheim）进行第一阶段测试，料2024年可展开临床测试。
