Dr Christina Yang Shi-Hui is a Consultant in the Department of Breast Surgery, Singapore General Hospital and Division of Surgical Oncology, National Cancer Centre Singapore. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine (M.D) degree from Chang Gung University in Taiwan in 2013, and after coming to Singapore and was accepted into Singhealth General Surgery Residency program to commence her surgical training. She obtained her Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCSEd) in 2017, and her Master of Medicine (Surgery) from the National University of Singapore in 2019. She completed her specialist training in General Surgery in 2021, when she was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeon of Edinburgh (FRCSEd).
Dr Yang is passionate about providing individualised treatment to each patient with breast disease, the sub-specialty that she has chosen to dedicate her career to. She is particularly interested in the management of breast cancer and oncoplastic surgery. Dr Yang is actively involved in breast cancer research. Dr Yang also enjoys teaching undergraduate medical students and junior doctors. In her free time, Dr Yang also participates in humanitarian trips to developing countries.
