Clin Asst Prof Khoo Chun Yuan is presently a Senior Consultant from the Department of Cardiology at the National Heart Centre Singapore, with clinical interests in Cardiomyopathy, Heart Failure and Echocardiography.
She completed her medical undergraduate training at the National University of Singapore, and obtained her Masters in Medicine and Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (United Kingdom). She completed her Cardiology specialist training accreditation (Singapore) in 2017. She has obtained postgraduate diplomas from the American Board of Echocardiography. She was awarded the 2022 Singhealth HMDP and Scholarships Awards and completed her subspecialty training in Heart failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction, Cardiac Amyloidosis and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy at the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago in July 2024. She also successfully completed the Northwestern Cardiac Amyloidosis Fellowship program during her time at Northwestern.
Apart from her clinical duties, Dr Khoo is also actively involved in clinical trials and education. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Duke-NUS Medical School. She is also an appointed Clinical Tutor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, and the Nanyang Polytechnic advanced diploma in Nursing programme.
