Dr Lin aims to deliver evidence-based medicine to his patients and train up the next generation of neurologists within Singhealth. He co-developed a phone app for new MOs in Neurology as a practical and easy-to-access reference on the go, covering a wide spectrum of topics from the practical aspects of a stroke activation to teaching topics like neuroanatomy of the brain and vascular territories. As Chief Resident, he augmented the leadership roles of Senior Residents (SRs) within SGH Neurology, giving each SR more leadership opportunities and better organization and distribution of work. He also established guidelines and a roster for Neurology SRs to have protected time amidst to go to the neurodiagnostic lab to learn essential skills of nerve conduction studies, electromyography and electroencephalography. He is actively involved in organizing examinations such as the NNI PACES course for junior doctors. He has been invited as a reviewer for the Neurology Chapter of the book ‘A Strategy To & Worked Practice For the MRCP PACES, World Scientific, Aug 2023’. And has multiple publications in journals such as Neurology Asia, BMJ, SN Comprehensive Clinical Medicine, A&A Practice, Clinical Case Reports. In recognition of his efforts, he has won awards such as the National Neuroscience Institute Service Quality Award and Service with a Heart Award.
