Message by Surgery ACP Academic Chair:

Here at Surgery ACP, our aspiration is to create a community of Surgeons - practicing at the top of their license, Academicians - to teach, to innovate, to push the frontier of care & Leaders - key opinion leaders in their respective expertise.

We want to be known as a programme that distinguishes ourselves in providing value driven care, constantly innovating and pushing the frontiers of knowledge.

Surgery ACP is humbled to have a dedicated community of surgeons who collaborate across the cluster to advance Academic Medicine in the areas of Research, Education and Clinical Innovation.

Education - We are committed to train competent and excellent surgeons and in grooming the next generation of healthcare professionals for the benefit of our patients. We seek to transfer the best skills and techniques to the undergraduate students, Postgraduate residency trainees, Fellows from local and overseas institutions who have come through our doors.

Research - We hope to improve patient therapies with cutting edge technology, through initiatives in device development, health service research and development of clinician scientists.

Clinical Innovation - We endeavor to provide value driven care for our patients. Our initiatives include being the first local institution to implement the National Surgical quality Improvement Programme (NSQIP). The findings allow us to identify quality innovation projects to enhance the quality of surgical care for our patients.

We welcome on board like-minded partners to partner alongside us on this Academic Medicine Journey.
