Realist evaluation is a rapidly developing, theory-based approach that help explain the “how” and “why” of intervention and programme outcomes.

Prof G.J. Melendez-Torres, Professor of Clinical and Social Epidemiology & citiesRISE Research Chair in Public Mental Health at the University of Exeter, will introduce the foundations of realist evaluation and realist synthesis, and impart knowledge on how you can develop your own realist-informed programme theories for greater impact and understanding.
