Ceritinib is a targeted medicine used in the treatment of advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer with ALK mutations.
Inform your doctor if any of the following occurs:
Avoid taking grapefruit and its juice when you are on this medicine.
Ceritinib is to be taken by mouth once daily. Take the exact number of capsules as advised by your doctor. It should be taken on an empty stomach i.e. at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal, unless otherwise instructed by your doctor.
If you miss a dose of Ceritinib, take it as soon as you can if it is within 12 hours of the missed dose. If it is past 12 hours since your missed dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your usual dosing time. Do not double the dose.
If you overdose on this medicine, inform your doctor immediately.
