Repeated blinking, shrugging, shaking of head, twitching limbs, grimacing and grunting sounds. These may be mistaken for 'bad habits' when they are actually involuntary movements or vocal sounds that a person with Tourette's syndrome (TS) experience. TS is a neurological disorder with motor and vocal tics associated with behavioural and emotional issues. Today on Tourette's Awareness Day, medical experts explain more about the symptoms and types of TS.
