Clinical and Systems Innovation Support
1) Clinical and Systems Innovation Support (Main) Grant
Introduction
The grant aims to promote clinical and systems innovation to transform healthcare, in support of SingHealth Duke-NUS AMC priorities.
Guiding Principles
The overarching goal of the Clinical & Systems Innovation proposals is to transform healthcare, especially in areas pertaining to:
The objective of the project should not be to start a clinical service or to enhance any existing services, which should be funded by the healthcare institution.
Funding Protocol
Funding quantum for each proposal is capped at S$100,000.
The duration of the project may range from a year to a maximum of 3 years.

2) Clinical and Systems Innovation Support – Innovation Seed Grant (ISG)
The grant aims to promote clinical and systems innovation to transform healthcare, and to kick-start early stage innovation projects to translate ideas into working prototypes, gather feedback andtest its techical feasibility for potential scaling in support of SingHealth Duke-NUS AMC and Academic Medicine Innovation Institute (AMII) priorities.
Funding quantum for each proposal is capped at S$25,000.
The duration of the project may range from a year to a maximum of 18 months.

Academic Medicine Innovation Institute (AMII)
1) AMII Test-Bedding and Adoption Grant
To support innovation projects, which are to be tested for feasibility in clinical practice within cluster and/or projects which are to be adopted and implemented across clusters, where the innovation is validated for sustainable service implementation and system integration.
Projects seeking support for testing feasibility and test-bedding of their innovations in clinical practice or to bridge the gaps for adoption and implementation of their innovations across clusters can apply to the *Academic Medicine Innovation Institute (AMII) Test-Bedding and Adoption Grant for Tier-1 funding support of up to $300,000 or Tier-2 funding support of up to $500,000 for maximum period of 15 months (strictly with no extension).
*For successfully awarded project, please note that a 5% co-institutional funding (based on the total approved amount) is required for the acceptance of the award.
Tier-1 Funding Support
Tier-1 funding is aimed at supporting Proof-of-Concept (POC) projects for further translation and development of the innovations, bringing them closer towards potential adoption and implementation within the healthcare system.
The key considerations of the Tier-1 funding support include:
Tier-2 Funding Support
Tier-2 funding is aimed at supporting and driving Proof-of-Value (POV) projects towards the adoption and implementation of their innovations across the clusters. Hence, to apply for Tier-2 funding support, it is compulsory for the application to include a co-Investigator from an institution of another cluster(s).
The key considerations of the Tier-2 funding support include:
Funding quantum for Tier 1 is capped up to S$300,000 and for Tier 2 is S$500,000.
The duration of the project may range from a year to a maximum of 15 months.
