Doxycycline is usually taken once or twice a day.
Doxycycline comes as a capsule. Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water and remain upright for at least 30 minutes after taking to reduce the risk of oesophageal irritation. Take with food to minimise stomach upset.; unless instructed otherwise.
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember it. Take any remaining doses for that day at evenly spaced intervals.
